How these figures are calculated
The cost and time savings above require just 2 primary calculations.
- The total time it takes to find/create and publish/schedule a single post to Facebook without Postradamus.
- The total time it takes to find/create and publish/schedule a single post to Facebook with Postradamus.
In order to find this out, we did some basic testing and came up with the following estimates.
- In order to find/create a single good quality post for Facebook, we estimated it would take about 5 minutes per post using Postradamus and 10 minutes per post without. In the best case scenario, finding a good quality post using Postradamus can be much quicker, but we averaged out the worst case scenario (10 minutes) and best case scenarios (5 seconds).
- In order to schedule/publish a single post to Facebook, we estimated it would take 5 seconds per post using Postradamus and 45 seconds per post using Facebook's native scheduling feature. In reality, scheduling with Postradamus can be much quicker, but we averaged out the worst case scenario (about 20 seconds) with the best case scenario (less than 1 second).
Using those figures, we calculated the below results.
